Dinosaur School Children's Program 2012 Spring Semester

In small groups, this is an intensive social skills training curriculum for children ages 5 to 7 with AD/HD and SLD. The focus is to build children’s social, emotional and academic competencies. Areas of development will be in communicating feelings, using effective problem solving strategies, managing anger, practising friendship and conversational skills, as well as appropriate classroom and learning behaviors. Sessions are delivered by experienced psychologists and counselors in small groups on a weekly basis.

This class is a 3-part module curriculum that builds on previously taught skills.

Date: January 5 to May 24, 2012 (every Thursday)

Module 1: Jan 5, 12, 19; Feb 2, 9, 23, 2012

Module 2: March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; April 12, 2012

Module 3: April 19, 26; May 3, 10, 17, 24, 2012

Time: 4:00pm - 5:30pm
