F.O.C.U.S. is a Hong Kong based non-profit organization whose mission is to:
Promote public awareness of Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) and Attention Deficit/Hyeractivity Disorder (AD/HD)
Improve the education of children who are challenged by these learning differences.
F.O.C.U.S. began as a parents' support group in 1990 and registered as a charity in Hong Kong in 1997. Its members are parents, teachers, doctors, psychologists, and many other professionals in the fields of education, medicine and social work.
F.O.C.U.S. is a leading source of SLD and AD/HD information and resources for schools and families in Hong Kong.
F.O.C.U.S. places a strong emphasis on sharing only research-based information from leading international experts. In this way, F.O.C.U.S. offers a unique and highly valuable service to local and international schools and families, as well as to university students.
